Fire Risk Assessments
The Regulatory Reform Act (Fire Safety) was introduced way back in 2005 and it means that businesses, organisations and landlords have to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment. The responsibility for fire safety now lies fully with the 'responsible person', usually the owner of a business or person in charge of an organisation. There are free to access templates that you can use but should something go wrong and your fire risk assessment is found wanting, then there may be heavy fines for the 'responsible person'.
At Fair Fire Ltd we use qualified Fire Risk Assessors with an in-depth knowledge of all the relevant legislation to give you a comprehensive document, suitable to stand up in a court of law.
Zone Plans
A Zone Plan should be located near the fire alarm panel in accordance with BS 5389.
